At an FEI board meeting on 20 June 2019, the FEI allocated the 2021 European Under 25 Championships to Donaueschingen (GER).

The tentative dates for the 2021 European Under 25 Champs are set for  12 - 15 August 2021.

The venue is located on the castle grounds of the noble Fuerstenberg family and it has created a perfect spot for international events before. In 1991, the European Dresage Championships took place there and Isabell Werth (GER) won team gold and GP Special gold on Gigolo FRH. Freestyle gold went to Sven Rothenberger who still represented Germany at the time, before switching to Holland.

Event director Dr. Kaspar Funke is pleased with the allocation of the 2021 European Under 25 Championships.

„It is great to receive this positive message so early in time that the U25- Championships will be hosted by us! We will therefore commence preparatory works right after the last class of this year’s CHI! I am very glad to welcome the newcomer talents and future champions to Donaueschingen in 2021," said Funke

On 15 - 18 August 2019 a CDI will take place in Donaueschingen.
