Dennis Fisker's job description for the Danish Equestrian Federation has been expanded. After having been the Danish youth team trainer for the past two years, he has now also been given the pony team trainership.

Danish pony team trainer Jette Nevermann and pony chef d'equipe Rigmor Kristensen both resign as of 1 January 2020.

Fisker has been an assistant trainer at the Frederikshavn and Hjallerup riding club, before becoming head rider at Agnete Kirk Thinggaard's Julianelyst in 2015.

In 2017 he succeeded Ulrik Sorensen as Danish Youth Team Trainer and resigned from his post at Julianelyst.

In 2013 Jette Nevermann Torup was appointed Danish pony team trainer, succeeding Vibeke Degn Andersen. The year 2019 has been one of highs and lows. It became a culmination of Nevermann's efforts as a coach, winning  a historic team gold medal with her pony kids and double individual gold (Alexander Yde Helgstrand) at the 2019 European Pony Championships in Strzegom. However, Jette also received a written warning from her federation after violating the DRF ethical rules for unnecessary use of whip at the 2019 Nordic Baltic Championships.

Danish Youth Team Captain Janne Jensen will became the chef d'equipe of the Danish pony riders as of 2020.
