The EDS online auction started last Tuesday. The first bids were made immediately. Meanwhile, the tension is rising and the EDS team is looking forward to the final on Saturday evening April 18, with the horses being auctioned at different times.
Multiple Big Tour and Small Tour horses
In this year's EDS collection we find several Big Tour and Small Tour horses. The eyes are focused on international Grand Prix horse Excellent Black, but Fellini and Erona Utopia are also striking appearances. Formerly approved KWPN stallion Fellini was subsequently gelded with the goal of the elite sport and this seems for a reason! With scores of over 72% in the Small Tour and the ease with which this beautiful black gelding learns the Grand Prix movements, nothing seems to get in the way of a glorious sport career. Erona Utopia, who won several prices in the Small Tour, also masters all movements of the Big Tour. In addition, she has a very good attitude and is easy to work with.
KWPN approved and selected stallions
Johnny Cash, Knock Out, Floris, Miljonair and Macaron are the stallions from the collection with which sport and breeding can be perfectly combined. The first three have been KWPN approved, with Knock Out even becoming performance champion of his year.
Millionaire and Macaron have both been selected for the KWPN performance test. These young talents have fantastic pedigrees and seem to have everything they need to make it themselves. Macaron also showed this at the Stallion Show of the Mecklenberg studbook, where he was previously approved.
Beautiful broodmares
For anyone looking to start in breeding or expand their current breeding, some great breeding mares have been added to this year's EDS collection. For example, we can look at Hadolly, who is classified in the ZZ-advanced level and granddaughter of the famous mare Dolly (by Ulster). Gina also has an unique pedigree. This black mare comes from the direct line of Blue Hors Don Schufro. In addition, she obtained the elite predicate and passed the IBOB test with a very good score of 80.5.
