The 5-year old Dancelli and the 6-year old Win For Me became the winners of one of the first 2020 Bundeschampionate qualifiers that has been held since the re-launch of national competitions in Germany post-corona.
The qualified took place in Langenfeld on 3 - 4 June 2020.
In the 5-year old division Beatrice Buchwald steered Countes Amely von Buchholtz, Hanoverian stallion Dancelli (by Dante Weltino x Baroncelli) to victory with an 8.3 total score. The stallion earned 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 9 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression from judges Hans-Peter Schmitz, Catrin Wingender and Reinhard Richenhagen. The runner up was Helen Erbe aboard her own Rhinelander mare Escona (by Escolar x Sir Donnerhall). The bay mare earned 7.5 for walk, 9 for trot, 8 for canter and submission and 8.5 for general impression to finish second on 8.2. The third placed pair, Stefanie Friess on Irmgard Peterek's Rhinelander mare Sugar (by Stanford x Furst Heinrich), scored 8.1.
Bianca Nowag on Win for MeFifteen pairs came to Langenfeld to contest the M-level dressage horse test for 6-year olds.
German Under 25 team rider Bianca Nowag won the class aboard Camille Kusin's Westfalian stallion Win For Me (by Wynton x Furst Piccolo) with 7.7. The liver chestnut earned 7 for walk, 8 for trot and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression. German young rider Helen Erbe and Next Generation's Westfalian stallion Amelio (by Abercrombie x Florenciano) finished second with 7.6. The bay stallion got 7 for walk, 7.5 for trot, 8 for canter, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression. Beatrice Buchwald and Theodor Leuchten's Rhinelander mare Ascona (by All at Once x Flatley) were third on 7.5, tying with Alexa Engel on the Hanoverian stallion Baron Bolligru E (by Bordeaux x Londonderry).
