The Finnish Grand Prix team horse Thai Pee has been sold to Luxembourg dressage rider Corinne Grotz as a schoolmaster.
Thai Pee is a 14-year old Oldenburg mare by Farewell III out of Texilane (by Dormello x Silvio x Tin Rocco). She is bred by Egon Barre.
The liver chestnut mare was owned by Luxembourg Tanja Kayser and first competed as a 4-year old by Stefanie Grosse.
In 2011 the Luxembourg based Finnish Grand Prix rider Terhi Stegars took over and trained and competed the mare from L-level to international Grand Prix.
In 2014 the combination moved to Prix St Georges level, in 2016 they did medium tour and in 2017 they arrived at Grand Prix level.
Their international show debut was in 2016 at the CDI-W Neumunster at small tour level and their first Grand Prix was in Uggerhalne, Denmark, where they finished second with Team Finland in the CDIO Nations Cup.
They represented Finland at the 2017 European Championships in Gothenburg, where they were 55th. At the 2019 European Championships in Rotterdam, they placed 52nd.
In September 2019 Stegars left Tanja Kayser's yard A Bis Grand Prix to work for a new employer, Claude Niedner, in Contern, Luxembourg. The move meant leaving behind her number one Grand Prix horse Thai Pee.
Kayser has sold the mare to the Grotz family as a Grand Prix schoolmaster Corinne and Véronique.
