Febe van Zwambagt is the new addition to the Dutch Talent Team of 2021. She joins four other young dressage riders.
For the second, consecutive year the Dutch Equestrian Federation announced its new, annual Talent Team online.
Traditionally the annual KNHS Talent Team is announced at the CDI-W 's Hertogenbosch, but in 2020 the event was cancelled due to corona and this year due to the EHV-1 outbreak in Spain, which has spread across Europe through horses returning home from these Spanish show jumping tours.
Five dressage riders are included in the 2021 KNHS Talent Team: New comer Febe van Zwambagt joins Marten Luiten, Kimberly Pap, Thalia Rockx, and Daphne van Peperstraten.
Last year's member Jeanine Nieuwenhuis is no longer part of the Talent Team as she has reach the age limit of maximum 25.
Riders on the KNHS Talent Team have been selected by the Dutch team trainers and their membership is a recognition of their talent, achievements and promise for the future. Members on the talent team get financial support to pay for extra training and coaching for their top sport career.
