Horses & Dreams in April is traditionally the first international competition of outdoor season in Germany and this will remain so this year.
The organizer, the Horses and Dreams Entertainment GmbH, announced today that Horses & Dreams will take place from 21 - 25 April as a "Sports Edition" and with a strengthened program.
CDI 4* in Hagen
Due to the current situation, a CDI3* tour was actually planned - now it will be increased to 4* level.
The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) and the German Equestrian Federation (FN) have already agreed to the change from 3 to 4* level. And organizer Francois Kasselmann is also positive.
"We are very happy with the increase to a CDI4* level," said Francois. '"Due to the many cancellations, there are simply not enough top-class events at the moment, which are so important for the preparation of the riders and their horses for the Olympic Games in Tokyo and the FEI Dressage European Championships in Hagen. Time is running so we are committed to create, together with and for the riders, a tournament where high level dressage competitions can be competed in a safe atmosphere. We are very grateful to our loyal sponsors and partners for making it possible for us to take this step."

However, Horses & Dreams also remains a location for important national competitions. Hagen a.T.W. is again the first station on the way to qualifying for the Nürnberger Burgpokal 2021 for Developing PSG horses and for the Louisdor Prize for Developing Grand Prix Horses (FN) - Prize of the Liselott and Klaus Rheinberger Foundation.
Germany's U25 Jumping Cup of the ´Stiftung Deutscher Spitzenpferdesport´ and the LVM Youngster Championat for six-year-old dressage horses are also on the program.
