On Tuesday night 10 August all records of the Grand Prix Sales were broken when a jumper foal sold for 85,000 euro in the online auction. Ravel KL became the dressage best seller on 11 August 2021.
Record Breaking Jumper Foal
The 2021 Grand Prix Sales auction price highlight was jumper filly Carlyne de Nyze Z. Investors from Austria had the highest bid of 85,000 euro.
The full brother of Carlyne de Nyze Z sold by telephone for 50,000 euro to Belgium.
Ravel KL, Dressage Best Seller
Ravel KL, a son of Le Formidable out of a Johnson dam, was the auction price highlight of the dressage foals. He sold for 18,000 euro. He sold to a Dutch buyer, who also purchased Rock Well VG (by Total Hope) for 16,000 euro.
Romulus (by Jameson x Dante Weltino) fetched 16,000 euro.
Ruig (by Bordeaux) stays in his own region as buyers from the region North Holland bought him for 15,000 euro. The same price was paid for Ruffino (by So Perfect x Trafalgar)
The fillies Sterre VHS (by So Perfect x Hennessy) and Riolita (by Jameson RS2) will leave for the USA and France for 10,000 and 9,000 euro.
Rafaël DSV (by Furst Toto x Desperado), Reginadora (by Daily Diamond x Ferdeaux) and Ragazzo (by Fontaine x Damon Hill) sold to for 12,000 euro. The latter foal moves to the U.K.
Most foals as well as an embryo by Vivaldi out of full sister Grand Prix stallions Rubin Royal and Romanov, will stay in The Netherlands. The embryo cost 12,000 euro.
