Just days after announcing the addition of a CDI in Exloo on 19 - 22 January 2022, the organizers of the Exloo Equestrian Centre have called off the show.
Exloo decided to host a CDI to fill in the void created by the cancellation of the World cup qualifier of Amsterdam. They had planned a 3* event with classes from pony level to Grand Prix.
Today, however, they posted that "we have decided not to organize the CDI. We received too many dismissive opinions because in the same period there are conflicting shows on the agenda. Unfortunately the speed with which Exloo decided to host the CDI and fill in for the sadly cancelled shows on the international calendar has not been rewarded."
Only one international CDI show has been scheduled for January 2022: the CDI Basel in Switzerland, where a 4* with only a Grand Prix tour will take place on 13 - 16 January. The next CDI on European soil will be the CDI Le Mans on 10 -13 February 2022.
