Lea Bonifay's triple European Youth Championship ride Fantastique has been sold to Diana Riggaz and will continue its sport career under the new owner as well as under French pony rider Stella Briand.

Fantastique is a 15-year old Oldenburg gelding by Fidertanz out of Valencia (by Dream of Heidelberg). He is bred in Belgium by Marcel de Wilde

Dressprod announced the new double partnership of riders for Fantastique

Léa Bonifay

Fantastique made his international show debut under French Léa Bonifay who trained in Belgium with Virginie Deltour. He was acquired by the family as a successor for her first junior horse, Timor (by Matterhorn x Indoctro), which they had bought from Belgian Alexa Fairchild.

Léa and Fantastique first competed in a CDI in Compiegne in May 2018 and campaigned him in Aachen and Hagen that year to be nominated on the French team for the 2018 European Junior Riders Championships in Fontainebleau where they were 25th in the individual test.

In 2019 they returned to the Europeans in San Giovanni in Marignano (ITA) and placed 44th in the individual test. In 2020 they moved up to Young Riders level and were 45th at the European Championships in Pilisjaszfalu (HUN). They continued at YR level in 2021 but did not make it on the team.

They were the 2018 and 2019 French Junior Champions.

Diane Riggaz

In the autumn of 2021 Fantastique sold to French Diane Riggaz, who made her international show debut on him at the 2022 CDI Le Mans last February. They competed at small tour level.

Riggaz confirmed to Dressprod that French pony rider Stella Briand will also be competing Fantastique in preparation of her transition to junior level as of 2023. The now 15-year old Briand represented France at the European Children Championships with U2 Jass du Derby in 2019 and 2020 and at the European Pony Championships with Swyn Barrade in 2021. She is in her last years on ponies now.

Bonifay continues her career under new horse Livetime N, an 11-year old Bavarian by Lord Loxley x Lancer) which she began showing in 2021.
