Following the horse inspection on Thursday morning 5 July 2022, all 94 competitors at the 2022 World Championships Dressage has a final opportunity to familiarise and train their horses one last time in the main stadium before the competition starts on Friday 6 July 2022.
This opportunity to acquaint the horses with the arena, the flower decorations, judges' huts and most important, three big tv-cameras, was taken by the majority of the riders. Only the Spanish team, except for Jose Garcia Mena who strolled Divina Royal round the ring, did not show up for this last training moment.
The familiarisation started at 10 AM and lasted all day until 20h00. Eurodressage took photos of all the riders. Here is an impression from Herning.
