Kjento Named KWPN Horse of the Year 2022

The 7-year old KWPN licensed stallion Kjento has won the vote and will be named the KWPN Dressage Horse of the Year 2022.

The black stallion will be honoured in a special ceremony during the KWPN Stallion Licensing on 1 - 4 February 2022. 

Almost 6,000 votes were cast for the best dressage and jumping stallion and Kjento won in the dressage category from rivals Johnson and Vivaldi. 

Bred by Ad van Os of Sprang-Capelle and owned by Gert-Jan van Olst, Kjento won the 2021 and 2022 World Young Horse Championships as a 6 and 7-year old under Charlotte Fry. He is by Negro x Jazz was also the winner of the stallion performance test.

Kjento follows in the footsteps of Hermes, Glamourdale, Johnson, Valegro, Parzival, Totilas, and Jazz.
