The 5-year old Infantino and the 6-year old Zuperman OLD became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held in Bielefeld-Holtkamp on Friday 5 May 2023.
5-YO: Infantino
Fifteen pairs competed in the L-level dressage horse class for 5-year olds and judges Hubert Hesker-Lengermann, Harry Lorenz, and Marret Maucher sorted them out.
Professional rider Kira Wulferding steered Frederike Rehkamp's Oldenburg stallion Infantino (by Ibiza x Sandro Hit) to the victory with 8.4 points. The stallion got 8 for walk, 9 for trot, 8.5 for canter and general impression and 8 for submission.
Breathing down the winner's neck was British Philly Roberts, who is based at Johannes Westendarp's stable in Wallenhorst. She rode Whitefield and Stack's Oldenburg gelding Lordswood Secret Agent PJF (by Secret x Follow Me) to a second place with 8.3 points. The pair got 8 for walk, 8.5 for trot and canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.
6-YO: Zuperman OLD
Twelve pairs competed in the M-level dressage horse class for 6-year olds, which was judged by Katja Westendarp, Heinrich Plaas-Beisemann, and Harry Lorenz.
Beatrice Hoffrogge and the Oldenburg stallion Zuperman (by Vincent Maranello x Destano) reigned with a winning total of 8.4 points. The dark bay stallion got 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 9 for canter, and 8.5 for submission and general impression.
Marcus Hermes and Nicola Ahorner's Hanoverian mare St. Felice (by St. Schufro x Furstenball) followed in second place with 8.1 points. The dark bay mare got 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 8 for canter, 8.5 for submission and 8 for general impression.
