French Horses Selected for 2023 World Young Horse Championships

The French delegation for the 2023 World Championships for young dressage horses in Ermelo is known. 

The selection of the French horses is done by two separate federations. The 5 and 6-year olds are chosen by the "Société Hippique Française" (SHF), while the 7-year olds are picked by the French Equestrian Federation (FFE).

The SHF organized a training and selection trial in Le Mans, where they picked their 5 and 6-year olds on 5 July 2023.

They are

5-year olds

  • Maxime Collard on Fiadora Applicat-Prazan (HANN, by Fursten-Look x Valentino)
  • Jessica Michel Botton on So Secret (HANN, by Secret x Hohenstein)
    • Reserve: Maxime Collard on Swarovski de Brevam (RHLD, by Secret)

6-year olds

  • Charlotte Chalvignac Vesin on Dempsey FBC (HANN, by Don Juan de Hus x Contendro)
  • Camille Judet Cheret on Fetiche de Hus (HANN, by Don Juan de Hus x Belissimo M)
    • Reserve 1: Charlotte Chalvignac Vesin on Fursty Majishan (HANN, by Furstenball x St. Moritz)
    • Reserve 2: Charlotte Chalvignac Vesin on French Kiss Kerlouaver (OLD, by Franklin x Royal Diamond)

The French Equestrian Federation selected two 7-year olds

7-year olds

  • Charlotte Chalvignac Vesin on Diamonds Diva Majishan  (WESTF, by Diamond Hit x Rockford)
  • Claudia Chauchard on Apachi van de Biebosschen  (OLD, by Apache x Don Frederico)
