The 42-year old Elvebakk first represented Norway as a professional dressage rider at the 2013 World Young Horse Championships on Cubald (by Tuschinski x Jazz) and JJ Hamsun (by Hotline x Sandro Hit). He returned to the WCYH in 2018 on Hojgaardens Santos (by San Amour x Friendship).

He rode several Nordic Baltic Championships, but in 2021 he got selected for his first major senior Grand Prix Championships by competing at the European Dressage Championships in Hagen on Citta (by Jazz x Candyboy). Unfortunately the mare passed away from colic in December 2021.

Hagen was Elvebakk's last international show

Move to Germany

Elvebakk is now relocating his family and business from Frederiksborg Hestesenter in Norway to Sportpferde im Brook in Ibbenburen, Germany.

He is bringing 8-year old Ballao (by Belissimo M), the 6-year old Nemi (by Johnson x Zack), and the 5-year old Odessa (by Toto Jr x Zack).

"The time is ripe to explore opportunities and life in the horse mecca, Westphalia," said Jonas. "We pack all of Sulamite, horses and our little family.  We are settlung in the cozy and small town of Ibbenbüren, just 4 minutes away from the stable."
