Stable Manager Wanted to Support Geena Martin at Nashoba Valley Farm in the USA

FEI dressage rider Geena S. Martin is in search of a Stable Manager for 10 dressage horses and 3 retired horses. She is based at Nashoba Valley Farm.

The manager will be spending 6 months in Acton, Massachusetts and 6 months in Wellington, Florida. There are also future plans for competition travel in Europe.

Duties:

• Spearhead stable operations in MA and FL sites and oversee daily management of care.
• Responsible for managing 8 employees/grooms.
• Work closely with Geena S. Martin, for the coordination and management of care for 10 competition horses and 3 retired horses.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and service providers.

A work week consists of 5-6 days per week depending on the flexible needs of the farm.

Character:

Must be a self driven and motivated person with an eye for detail and excellence. Looking for a take-charge individual with a big picture understanding and long term commitment to our team as we develop horses for top sport.

Long standing experience and extensive knowledge in managing sport horses and staff as well as an educated understanding of competition is essential. Our top priority is the wellbeing of the horses.
