At the first in-person FEI Board meeting of the year on 4 - 5 June at the FEI Headquarters in Lausanne (SUI), the FEI board has allocated the 2026 European Pony Championships to Le Mans (FRA).

The event has been tentatively scheduled for end July 2026

Le Mans has been the host of the 2023  European Championship for Ponies in Jumping, Dressage and Eventing. In 2025 it will be the host of the European Children and Junior Riders Championships.

The venue is one of Europe's most prolific venues, experienced in hosting national and international shows for years. The show direction is managed by Philippe Rossi and his wife Emmanuelle Schramm.
