The filly Madeira and colt Outtake were the best sellers of the fourth and fifth edition of the 2024 Hanoverian Foal Spring Auction in Verden on 6 and 20 June 2024.
Originally five foal auctions were planned, but a sixth auction has been added to the schedule.
Auction 4/6: Madeira
Thirty-one foals were included in the collection and 29 of them found a new owner.
Madeira (by McLaren x Rubinero) achieved the highest price: 21,500 euro. She is bred by ZG Hinders-Vietor and will move to Brandenburg.
French buyers secured colt Fortunatus (by Furst Belissaro x Spörcken) for 14,000 euro
A Norwegian bought Fayola (by Furst Wilhelm x Christ) for 8,250 euro, while a Belgian got Don Darius (by Don Olympic x Download) for 6,750 euro and Fabio FB (by Federer x Dancier) for 5,000 euro.
A Spaniard bought Very Nice (by Venido x Don Crusador) for 6,000 euro, while Bonne Esperance (by Bon Esprit x De Niro) and Viva la Vida (by Vitalis x Millennium) found a new home in Austria for 5,250 and 4,500 euro. A Brit bought Danny Sahne (by Damaschino x Londonderry) for 5,250 euro.
The average price for a foal in this auction was 6,181 euro.
Auction 5/6: Outtake
Auction 5 concluded on 20 June and 23 foals were offered for sale. Jumper colt Outtake (by Ogano Sitte x Calido) fetched the highest price of 9,000 euro.
A Hungarian bought Fioncello (by Furst Belissaro x Da Costa) for 8,500 euro and Dynamic Dance (by Dynamic Dream x Fidertanz) for 8,250 euro.
Spanish clients purchased Barbarossa (by Bon Courage x Ibiza) for 8,000 euro and Escalia (by Escanto PS x Sir Donnerhall) for 5,250 euro.
Synphonie F (by Segantini x Floriscount) goes to France for 4,500 euro.
The average price for a foal in this auction was 6,080 euro.
