
Thiago Mantovani, a passionate Lusitano breeder, proudly announces the launch of a new brand: Mantovani Horses.
Mantovani has successfully established himself as a reputed breeder with several achievements in sport his career as a horse scout, owner and breeder. His flagship breeding stallion Escorial proved to be instrumental for Thiago's success. The team competed at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, as well as the World Breeding Championships, the 2022 World Equestrian Games, and, most recently, the 2023 Pan American Games, where Brazilian Olympian João Victor Marcari Oliva secured historic individual and team silver medals.
New Brand: Mantovani Horses
The team includes prominent riders such as João Oliva, who competed in the Tokyo Olympics and will participate in the upcoming Paris Olympics, the promising rider Yara Fernandes, Tomás Carvalho and the children’s rider Maria Eduarda Mantovani. Also part of the team since 2020 is coach Norbert Van Laak who is bringing his important expertise to team and trainer of the athletes.
Thriving Breeding Program
Following the success in Tokyo, Mantovani's breeding program has thrived, producing rising stars set to compete in future championships. With Olympic bloodlines, achievements are already evident in Escorial's 7-year-old son, Nuelo, and his brother, Orion, both showing great promise.
Three Pillars
The Mantovani Horses team operates based on three brand pillars: breeding, sales, and high- performance training of mares and stallions. These efforts reflect Mantovani’s commitment to the quality and growth of the Lusitano breed.
