The 5th Edition of Fohlenauktion.at Begins - Austrian Foal Stars Up For Auction

Selected modern bred Austrian show jumping and dressage foals can be purchased online from August 14 to 18 at www.fohlenauktion.at.

A look at the collection will bring joy: Stallion prospects, dressage aspirants with excellent movement quality and show jumping foals with first-class genetics await their bidders.

All the foals come from Austria's most successful breeding stables.

Austrian Bred

Not only the foals but also other A-horses represent the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Warmblutzucht" and its breeders beyond the borders of Austria.

“The international reputation and quality of the A-horses have continuously improved in recent years thanks to the joint efforts. This is reflected, among other things, in a top position in the WBFSH ranking of the world's best breeding areas - despite the small horse population," said AWÖ Obmann Josef Wessely.

The Austrian warmblood has made a name for itself primarily through its hardiness, willingness to perform and successful international genetics.

It is therefore not surprising that the sires of this year's collection include World Cup winners, Nations Cup winners and Olympic participants.

The dams of the selected foals also promise the best sporting prospects and come from first-class international lines.
