Albert van Dijk and his late wife Tineke Huizing of "Bijkershof Dressage" were named the KWPN Breeders of the Year 2024.
Van Dijk was honoured for his breeding efforts at the KWPN Horse Days in Ermelo on 26 July 2024.
Van Dijk and Huizing began breeding nearly thirty years ago with two dam lines: the Nosa line and Bottie line. Their most famous breeding product is Charlotte Dujardin's Imhotep (by Everdale x Vivaldi), who won double bronze and team gold medal at the 2023 European Championships in Riesenbeck.
Also from their breeding programme are Grand Prix mare Cynosa (by Tuschinski x Havidoff) and elite mares Hadinosa (by San Amour x Havidoff), Jinosa (by Everdale x Rousseau), Uni D'Ottie (by Sandro Hit x Wisconsin), Engel D'Ottie (by Vivaldi x Sunny Boy) and Hello D'Ottie (by Jazz x Sandro hit). The KWPN licensed King de Niro (by De Niro) is out of Grandinosa (by Ampere).
