The SWB Elite Foal Auction Dressage is held during the SWB Equestrian Weeks at Flyinge Stud, Sweden. 22 top-notch SWB-foals will enter the arena at 7PM on Friday September 27, once again as much appreciated hybrid auction.
Västra Hoby Stud, awarded *Breeder of the Year* in 2023, has a total of four selected foals and is also represented by last year’s SWB stallion performance test winner Knockando VH (SWB), with three selected offsprings.
Four dressage foals have Be Sure as sire, whose offspring have previously been sold for high sums, including Maria Hedvall’s Bijou (by Be Sure-Totilas), which set a record at the 2022 SWB Elite Foal Auction, selling for €67,000.
The filly Bellissima II VH (by Be Sure, breeder Västra Hoby Stud) comes out of a top-notch dam line. Grand-dam is Elite mare Darling II VH, also the dam of the approved stallion Rosebank VH 1469 now sold to Grand Prix rider Katie Duerrhammer, USA.
Another foal that stands out from the crowd is the filly Vesper i Bo (by Proud James, breeder i Bo Dressyr). Her dam, Verdesse VH is a full sister of Verdesse II VH, winner of Breeders Trophy as a 4-year-old in 2023, and now representing Sweden in Ermelo. Testrider Benjamin Werndl predicted her to be a top horse for the future. Great grand-dam De la Reinne VH is the dam of famous Grand Prix-stallion Springbank II VH.
