Internationally competed British team pony Ella. Three-time European Pony Championship participant.

Bred by Julie Lockey and based in the UK, Ella is a 15-year old British KWPN registered pony mare and full sister to the 2024 European Pony Champion, George Clooney B.S.

Ella is a consistent team pony for Great Britain and Ireland, competing at the European Championships three times with three different riders, which is a testimony to her rideability, character, high quality gaits and training.

Ella has huge paces with her extensions being a particular highlight.

Our daughter was 12 years old when we acquired Ella and together they had an amazing experience at this year’s European Championships, scoring 68.257% in the team test to help secure a team 4th for GB, and 67.594% in the individual test.

Ella has been consistent throughout 2024 scoring 69% in the team test at Compiegne, at our daughter’s first show abroad. They also won the Hickstead Premier League this year with 69.19%.

As our daughter is now entering her final GCSE year, she must prioritise her exams and plans to campaign her younger dressage pony alongside her eventing pony for next year, hence the reason for marketing Ella at this time.

Ella has much to give a new partnership and her next home is important to us.
