Danish Sophia Ludvigsen and Blue Hors Quintana were unstoppable at the first leg of Lövsta Future Challenge International U25 Dressage Tour held at the 2024 CDI-W Herning on 17 - 19 October 2024. She won both the U25 Grand Prix and the Freestyle with an impresseive 78,020%

"Quintana felt so nice today, I think the highlight was our piaffe-passage tour. He really loves the atmosphere in the arena here in Herning and the ambience is just amazing. We hope to be able to ride some of the other legs of the Lövsta Future Challenge-tour and then maybe also some senior Grand Prix," said Sophia about her plans with Blue Hors' 10-year old Quantensprung x Desperados offspring.

Second place went to Dutch Milou Dees and her 14-year old former Dutch Junior_Young Riders team horse Francesco (by Florencio x Krack C), who did her first show since the 2024 European Under 25 Championship in July.

"We had a lot of fun riding the freestyle today! We also managed the test without any mistakes and Francesco behaved so well. I´m really happy," said Milou who works as a professional rider for Gestut Sprehe in Germany.

Germany's Elisabeth Von Wulffen is back on track this season with an appetite for international showing after a two-year break from CDI shows. Aboard her 12-year old Westfalian Triple A (by Totilas x De Niro) she placed third in the Kur.

The World Cup in Herning is the first leg of three of the Lövsta Future Challenge International Tour. The tour creates opportunities for U25 riders to compete in the international arenas where competitions in the FEI Dressage World Cup™ are also held. The next stop is Jumping Amsterdam on 23 - 26 January 2025 and the tour concludes during Gothenburg Horse Show on 19-23 February 2025. Each leg consists of a U25 Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle.
