Daily Pleasure, a double Bundeschampion and European Championship medal winning pony, has been leased to a new German rider.

Daily Pleasure is a 14-year old Weser Ems bred stallion by HD Daylight out of Gina D (by Dressman x Folklore). He is bred by Reinhard Kramer and was owned by Ann-Cathrin Rieg.

Double Bundeschampion

The chestnut was licensed in 2013 at the Weser Ems Licensing in Vechta and did his performance test requirements via sport.

He was first started by Jana Bertels as a 3-year old in 2014 and placed fourth at the 2015 Bundeschampionate. In 2016 Ann-Cathrin Rieg took over the ride and won the Bundeschampionate for 5-year olds. In 2017 she repeated that feat with a second gold medal in Warendorf.

In 2018 Daily Pleasure was leased to the Busch-Kuffner family for daughter Antonia. They competed at CDI's in Hagen, Exloo, Aachen Indoor, Lier, Saumur and Leudelange. They were 11th at the 2018 German Pony Championships and won the 2019 Preis der Besten. Their partnership culminated in a team bronze medal and a 9th place in the individual test at the 2019 European Pony Championships in Strzegom, Poland.

In December 2019 Daily Pleasure sold to the Roth family for daughter Antonia to ride.

The new pair made its international debut at the 2020 CDI Le Mans and showed in Mariakalnok. They were nominated on the German team for the 2020 European Pony Championships in Pilisjaszfalu, where they won team gold and individual test bronze. In the kur they were fourth. They won silver at the 2020 German Pony Championships.

In 2021 they continued on a very successful streak inLe Mans, Opglabbeek, Compiegne, and Hagen to return on the team for the 2021 Europeans in Strzegom, where they got team gold and double silver. The pair did not ride at the 2021 German Pony Championships.

In 2022 younger sister Franziska took over the ride and she debuted at the CDI Mariakalnok and rode Ornago and Hagen to claim her spot on the German team for the 2022 Europeans in Strzegom, where she got team gold. Individually she was 14th and as fourth German rider did not make it into the Kur. She finished 10th at the 2022 German Pony Championships.

Franziska continued to compete the liver chestnut internationally through September 2024 but did not make it back on the highly competitive German team. She did not ride the 2023 nor 2024 National Championships.

Daily Pleasure will now continue the next chapter of his competition career as a schoolmaster for Mia Oertel.

"Daily will stay at our own stable, Gestut Riederhof," Antonia Roth told Eurodressage. She will be coaching the new pair.

Oertel has been actively competing ponies Holsteins Sarafina (by Holsteins Whisper x Patrick), Golden Glory (by HET Golden Dream x FS Champion de Luxe), and Steendiek's Commander (by Steendieks Commander Bond x FS Don't Worry) at national FEI pony level in Germany this year. She has also done some jumping with Grey Shannon.
