In the same ownership since he was four, DSP Quick Step has been successful from the start and has built up an impressive performance record through the levels.
He won his first S-level test as a 7-year old and then started a string of victories at Prix St Georges-Intermediaire level. He has achieved many wins and placings and enabled his rider to achieve the Golden Rider Badge (10 S-level wins). The pair won the regional championships at different levels many times.
In 2023 and 2024 he qualified for the Derby Stars von Morgen Finals in Munster. He scored 69.105% in his first S*** test. He posted 70.158% in the Inter II in Oldenburg 2023. He has been consistently scoring these marks throughout 2024. In November 2024 he finished fifth in the semi-finals for the "Stars von Morgen" in Oldenburg with 69.895%. Commentating judge Christoph Hess called Quick Step "a horse that super secure in the GP movements ("Lektionstaxi")." In his career he has won 41 S-level tests of which 13 were at S*** level.
Quick Step makes an outstanding schoolmaster for a new rider who wants to be successful in the show ring.
