Ravens Kind of Magic is a very exciting dressage prospect
Amicably known as Sven, he is incredibly balanced, never mind his size. He tries his very best every ride with a real ‘can do’ attitude. Even at this stage of training he shows immense talent for the Grand Prix, with his expressive, balanced paces and great ability to sit.
Sven was backed last August and took to it very well. He is very in tune with his rider, which makes him great off the voice. He is nicely sensitive and can be sharpened up very easily and has a huge amount of power when required. Due to the fact that he is so big and has big paces we have been careful to not push him, as he would be easy to push too far too quickly because of how willing he is.
Sven’s sire ‘Raven’ is a premium stallion by Revolution out of a Christ mare. Sven is from his first crop, who fetched six figure prices across the licensings, and have continued to do so last year. His paternal grand sire Revolution is known for passing on his amiable temperament.
He has been shod in front and was no problem. He is currently barefoot and has good feet. He is happy to live in or out, but he does get very tired when he’s out 24/7. He travels and loads like a lamb in 3.5t and 7.5t lorries.
We bought Sven directly from his breeder in Germany when he was a yearling, so his full history is known. His home is very important to us, so that will be prioritized over price.
