The foal season kicks off the new auction year with a bang! For the first time ever, a joint elite foal auction organized by the Oldenburg Horse Breeding Association in collaboration with the KWPN will take place at Horses & Dreams at Hof Kasselmann in Hagen.
Horses & Dreams is one of the most prestigious events in the international equestrian calendar, bringing together breeders, top riders, and horse enthusiasts from around the world. Under the motto “Horses & Dreams meets the Netherlands,” visitors can look forward not only to a top-class sporting program, but also to the very first Oldenburg and KWPN Elite Foal Auction, which will take place during the event on Friday, April 25, at 8:30 p.m.
Here, top riders will find their future sport partners from the finest breeding stables in both neighboring countries.
Highlight Collection
On Friday evening 25 April a total of 21 exceptional dressage and jumping foals will go under the hammer, selected in both the Netherlands and Germany.
Catalog nr 1 is Viva Vitus (by Viva Gold x Fidertanz) who is a very special stallion prospect with charm and charisma. This son of top dressage horse producer Viva Gold presents himself with exceptional movement and impulsion. Dam Fiderzarin is sister of two licensed stallions: Dreivierteltakt/Trak. and Dominique MJ, successful at S-level with Thomas Wagner.
The KWPN bred Vie d'Excellence (by One Million x Le Formidable) is out of Par Excellence C&R, a full sister to the promising stallion Ready to Rumble, who is licensed Oldenburg and KWPN selected. Grand dam Eos-Utopia was 3rd at the Dutch mare championship, had a topscore of 88.5 points in her IBOP test and in the PAVO Cup she was best mare two years in a row.
