The KWPN bred Souverain became the high scoring stallion in the extra Danish Warmblood stallion performance testing in Torring, which concluded on 9 February 2026.
The normal 35-day performance test finished on 22 November 2025, but this was a new opportunity Danish Warmblood included on its calendar to get young stallions tested. On the final exam day the colts were once again test ridden by Allan Grøn.
The top score of 869 points was achieved by Souverain, a 2022 born KWPN colt originally named Schepje Er Bovenop MP ( by Sezuan x Stedinger). He is bred by Piet Olthof and owned by Helgstrand.
First Magic could not be test ridden by Gron on the final day due to a hoof abscess, but the stallion was tested at the mid-term exam by Grøn, and the grades he received on that occasion were transferred to his final result.
Four stallions participated and all four passed:
- 1. Souverain (2022, by Sezuan x Stedinger) - Breeder: Piet Olthof - Owner: Helgstrand --- 869 points
- 2. Invictus (2021, by Iron x Quaterback) - Breeder: Iben W. Deleuran - Owner: Helgstrand --- 827 points
