Nine countries will be fielding a team for the FEI Nations Cup at the 2026 CDIO Lier in Belgium on 20 - 24 May 2026.
Lier is the third leg of the 2026 FEI Nations Cup series which kicked off in Wellington, Florida, and then went to Fontainebleau (FRA) in April. After Lier Hagen (1 - 5 July) and Falsterbo (8 - 12 July) are the last two of the series. Rotterdam dropped out.
Lier hosted its first outdoor CDI in 2025, straight away in CDIO format, and it was a tremendous success with a professional organisation, top conditions, a packed entry field, and good weather. The good reviews and date on the calendar boosted the entries this year which led to the OC to start the competition already on Wednesday with a big Prix St Georges as many Asian riders are entered in their pursuit for MER scores toward the 2026 Asian Games.
