Antonia Arl, former professional dressage rider, Belgian youth champion, and European Youth Championship team rider, is launching The Redefined Equestrian on 22 June 2026 - a transformational yoga and mindfulness programme designed exclusively for equestrians.

Transformative

The programme addresses what Arl identifies as one of the most overlooked gaps in equestrian sport: the rider's own body and mind. "After ten years competing at the top of dressage, I watched riders, including myself, invest everything into their horses and almost nothing into themselves," says Arl.

Riders at every level know the physical wear on the body and the mental load of managing horses, competitions and life simultaneously. Nothing has existed to address this; until now.

"There is no more rigid part of my body," says Lyndal Oatley. "My riding has completely changed - everything is softer, and I breathe deeper. She understands the rider's body and all its strengths and weaknesses."

The Redefined Equestrian Program combines private weekly sessions with Antonia, fully tailored to each client's riding goals, alongside 24 on-demand yoga classes that focus on developing a deeper seat, better posture, more suppleness, and strength. It also includes six guided rider-focused meditations to manage pre-competition nerves, release tension, reset after a busy day and to practise breathwork.

"Because horses feel our emotions so clearly, the mindfulness and self-awareness aspects are incredibly valuable," says Maria Amaral.

Arl designed the program to fit around a rider's busy schedule with on demand classes being 15 to 50 minutes long and accessible from any device.

Clients already trained by Arl include Dutch team rider Rowena Weggelaar, Australian Olympian Lyndal Oatley, Portuguese team rider Maria Amaral, and Hungarian team rider Máté Garai.

Grand Prix rider Mica Mabragaña has been working with Antonia for 6 months. "I was instantly hooked after the first session — the next day my riding was so different, I was able to sit deeper without even thinking about it," said Mica.
