Wenke Kraus on Samba Royal K
The newly designed competition format for four-year-old riding ponies featured a dressage pony test at the A level in the final, replacing the previous riding pony test, in which the finalists were presented individually. Also the use of guest judge riders was eliminated for the first time in 2026.

“That was a very convincing trot tour, in which the mare clearly swung over her back with very good shoulder freedom. It all looked very natural and effortless,” said the judging trio. “Samba Royal has a very good uphill tendency, showed secure transitions, was very focused on her rider, and truly worked exceptionally well.”

Mailin Quast and Maik Cordes' Hanoverian are Disney's Mobility (by The Braes My Mobility x Don Nobless)  were good for silver with 8,66 points in total. Bred by ZG Frieling, this mare got 8 for trot and canter, 9 for walk, 9.5 for submission and 8.8 for general impression.

Rebekka Rösler and Sebastian Golubski's Hanoverian stallion Deejay (by Dating AT x Dance for Me) got the silver with a total of 8,02 points. The palomino posted 8.1 for trot, 7.9 for walk, 8.3 for canter, 7.7 for submission, and 8.1 for general impression.  Deejay is bred by Henrik Auhagen. “Believe us, we would have liked to award more appropriate scores. We are very sorry, but we couldn't change the weather conditions.
