Reesink Horses' homestead facility in Eibergen, The Netherlands, has been sold to an enthusiastic and ambitious partner, Grand Tour Stables.
Grand Tour Stables will take over the location and activities in Eibergen, where the company will establish its base, running their dressage breeding programme, the development and sale of high-quality horses, and the establishment of a stallion station under one roof.
A New Chapter
Reesink Horses and Grand Tour Stables (GTS) are no strangers as they have collaborated in recent years, particularly in the management of youngstock. One of Grand Tour Stables' flagship licensed stallions is the 3-year old Dutch warmblood Topaas Dream GTS (by Dutch Dream x Tango x Clint Eastwood).

For Reesink Horses this means a stronger focus on their future out of the yard in Uden, The Netherlands, where Dinja van Liere and her team are located. "From our base in Uden we will be focusing even more strongly on where our passion and ambitions lie: our breeding station, our stallions and top-level sport," said Reesink.

"These achievements are a proud reflection of our breeding philosophy, combining proven maternal lines with exceptional stallions to produce modern sport horses of the highest quality," GTS told Eurodressage. "Every breeding decision begins with an honest evaluation of the mare - not only of her qualities, but also of the characteristics we would like to improve in the next generation."
Alongside Topaas Dream GTS, Grand Tour Stables further owns licensed stallions Siberius GTS (by Secret x Finest x Rotspon), Ermengaro GTS (by Escaneno x Baron). They also have has strong irons in the fire for sport with geldings Theodorus GTS (by Total Diamond PS x De Niro) and Verissimos GTS (by Vitalis x Desperados), and many are to come.
