Filly Dreamwoman van de Kempenhoeve and colt Delorean SVB were named the champions in the dressage division at the 2026 Belgian Warmblood (BWP) Foal Championship on 5 September 2026.

The BWP Foal Championships were held at equestrian centre Vanderhasselt in Ternat, Belgium.

Reesink's Oldenburg stallion McLaren (by Morricone x Sir Donnerhall x Akzent II) sired both the filly and colt champion.

Fillies: Dreamwoman van de Kempenhoeve

In the filly division there were 28 foals entered; two fillies were by McLaren while all the other foals had different sires. Six were invited to the finals to battle for the title.

The title went to Dreamwoman van de Kempenhoeve, a filly by McLaren out of Prettywoman van de Kempenhoeve (by Quaterback x Stedinger x Weltmeyer), bred and owned by Marc Dries of brood farm De Kempenhoeve. This filly scored 95,00 points for the victory. Only weeks ago she was recently offered for sale in EDS x Stal Brouwer online foal auction and marked as sold. Daphne van der Plas is the new owner.

The runner-up was Dacota's Dancer Van 't Nieuwhof (by One Million x Fürst Jazz), bred and owned by Amber and Davy Bosman. She scored a total of 94 points.

Colts: Delorean SV

Twenty-seven colts were entered for the championship with three sons by Urianto van de Dries and Extreme U.S, while there were two each by Zonik Plus and Dynamite. Seven colts were invited to the finals round.

The champion sash went to Delorean SVB, a colt by McLaren out of ster mare Noisette Noir de Tjonger (Jazz x Bordeaux), bred and owned by Steve Van Bambost. The chestnut colt scored 96 points in total.

The reserve champion's title went to Dreampower van de Kempenhoeve, who is by V-Power out of Prettywoman van de Kempenhoeve (by Quaterback x Stedingern), bred and owned by Marc Dries of brood farm De Kempenhoeve. He scored 95 points in total. The Dries family's top broodmare Prettywoman produces several foals a year via embryotransfer and was able to give the champion and reserve champion of the BWP Foal Championship this year. She is also the dam of the internationally competed small tour horse Sunnyboy van de Kempenhoeve (Domien Michiels).
