One day. A full program. Pure Oldenburg. On Saturday, October 3, the Oldenburg Horse Center in Vechta will become the gathering place for breeders, riders, horse lovers, and anyone looking forward to a special day in Vechta. From the presentation of the auction foals to the OLD Masters finals and the 106th Fall Elite Auction, all the way to the Championship Party in the evening, there’s something going on from 11:00 a.m. until late at night. And at 2:30 p.m., it’s free beer for everyone!
The event kicks off at 11:00 a.m. on the outdoor arena. Around 45 auction foals will present themselves one last time live before an audience and show what they’re made of before the auction hammer falls in the afternoon.
Action Packed Day
The sporting action continues as early as 12:30 p.m.: In the grand finale of the OLD Masters powered by DERBY, the season’s top-qualified rider-horse pairs will face off. Following the qualifying rounds over the past few months, the series finale in Vechta will determine who takes home the title.
Afterward, everyone will raise a toast together: Starting at 2:30 p.m., there will be free beer for all visitors. It’s time to meet friends and acquaintances, strike up conversations, and get in the mood together for the highlight of the afternoon.
Because at 4:00 p.m., it’s time to clear the stage for the 106th Fall Elite Auction. In addition to the approximately 45 foals, 28 selected riding horses will take center stage. From talented young horses to already well-trained sport partners, the Fall Elite Collection offers interesting opportunities for dressage and show jumping riders. The auction horses are already in Vechta and can be viewed and tested on-site by prior arrangement.
Bids can be placed live in Vechta, by phone via a bidding order, or online through HORSE24.
It’s far from over once the final bid is accepted
Once the auction hammer falls for the last time in the evening, the fun continues right away: Starting around 9:00 p.m., the Championship Party kicks off. That’s when the auction atmosphere turns into a party mood—and everyone celebrates together in Vechta with breeders, riders, customers, friends, and guests.
So: Mark your calendars for October 3, come to Vechta, and be part of it!
