Photo Report: Throwback to the 2026 CDI-W Palm Beach Derby

The Palm Beach Derby is my favourite show on the Wellington calendar, probably because it is also the first show I ever attended in Florida back in 2000.  It was held at Equestrian Estates in Loxahatchee back then and had found home as part of the Global Dressage Festival. 

A bigger group of riders makes the effort of competing at the Derby, making it worth to pencil this one in your agenda. In the last few years one stayed a little hungry and disappointed when it comes to counting stars in Wellington; as if they all go in hiding for various reasons...

Either way, this year the Derby was a fun show with particularly a lot of action in the national arena. Check out my selection of favourite photos.
