The British Equestrian Federation's Coaching Convention, for coaches and coach developers across the Federation, which takes place this year at Stareton Hall, Warwickshire on Tuesday 19th October, has announced the final line-up for the day.
Special guests and keynote speakers from the world of sport include; ex-international rugby player and England captain Phil de Glanville, now based with Sport England; double Olympic Champion, Dame Kelly Holmes and five times World Karate Champion Geoff Thompson, MBE.
As well as keynote speakers we will also hear terrific insights into coaching and the rider / coach relationship from grade III para-equestrian dressage rider, Emma Kent and her coach, international trainer, Tanya Larrigan; current European vaulting Champion Joanne Eccles and her coach, lunger and father, John Eccles and Nations Cup showjumper, Charlotte Platt and coach, Corinne Bracken, who has recently returned from the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore, where she was Chef d'Equipe for the Gold medal winning European showjumping team.
The day will include workshop sessions, discussing how to develop the people you coach and how to develop yourself and others as coaches, with a question and answer panel concluding the day.
