The dressage colt Henderson SVN became the price highlight of the 2012 Prinsjesdag Foal Auction in The Hague, The Netherlands, on 18 September 2012. The dressage foals were the best sellers of the auction.
Henderson SVN is by De Niro out of O Esther (by Jazz x Ulft x Amor) and sold for 44,000 euro to Blue Hors Stud in Denmark. The bay colt is closely related to Grand Prix horses Sisther de Jeu and Thriller through its dam line.
The second most expensive foal was Hoby Utopia (by Chippendale x Metall x Ulft). This bay colt descends from the same dam line as Vivaldi and sold for 36,000 euro to Blue Hors Stud.
The most expensive show jumper foal was the filly Hieka W (by Big Star x Little Rock). It sold for 23,000 euro to Kat van Primeval.
The average price for a foal at this auction was 9,719 euro.
