The 5-year old Quirino Rocco and the 6-year old Felice were the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at Gut Riedhausen on 27 - 30 June 2013. Twenty-eight horses in total contested the two L and M-level dressage horse tests which counted as qualifiers for Warendorf.
Ramona Ritzel and the dark bay Bavarian branded Quirino Rocco (by Quaterback x Piaster) scored an strong 8.4 total mark to win the 5-year old division. The panel of judges awarded them 9 for trot, 8 for walk and canter and 8.5 for submission and general impression. Alexandra Sessler and the black Hanoverian mare Della Graziana (by Don Frederico x Brentano II) finished second with an average of 8.2. They earned 8 for trot and walk, 9 for canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Uwe Schwanz and the Bavarian stallion Hermes (by Hotline x Lanciano) slotted in third with 8.1. This duo got 8 for trot, 8.5 for walk, 7.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.
In the smaller 6-year old division Ferdinand Fabian Fisch and the bay Westfalian mare Felice (by Furst Piccolo x Ehrentanz) aced the class with an average of 8.1. The pair got 8.5 for trot, 8 for walk and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Friederike Schulz-Wallner and the Bavarian branded stallion Ritz Carlton (by Rivero III x Pour Plaisir) were the runners-up with 8.0. They got 8.5 for trot, 8 for walk, 7.5 for canter, 8 for submission and general impression.
