Furstenglanz became the top selling foal at the 2013 Oldenburg Elite Foal Auction in Vechta, Germany, on Saturday 24 August 2013. Clients from Baden-Wurttemburg paid the whopping amount of 100,000 euro for this Furst Wilhelm x Ron William x Donnerhall colt.

The second most expensive foal was the colt Furstespiegel (by Furstenball x Stedinger x Figaro) which sold to Hungary for 40,000 euro.

The dressage foals were well paid for and in Vechta there were few signs of a credit crunch. Dalibor (by De Niro x Sir Donnerhall) sold for 30,000 euro to Indonesia. Mille Grazias (by Millenium x De Niro) found now owners in Estland for 29,000 euro.

Swedish customers paid 25,000 euro for Silk Way (by San Amour x Furst Heinrich) and Belgian clients paid 23,000 euro for Sudtiroler (by Sir Donnerhall x De Niro).

The best selling jumper foal was Baltic Love (by Balou de Rouet x Lancer II x Grannus). She sold for 16,000 to Westfalian customers.

There was a lot of interest from abroad. No less than 39 foals from the collection of 85 sold abroad. Ten foals move to Sweden, five to Singapore, three to Indonesia.

The average price for a foal at this auction was heavily influenced by the top priced foal and it was 10,594 euro.
