The 5-year old black mare Diva (by Desperados x Sponeck x Tuareg) became the price highlight of the 2014 Hanoverian Spring Elite Auction in Verden, Germany, on 11 - 12 April 2014.

Clients from Great Britain paid 220,000 euro, excluding 16% auction commission fee, for the black mare. The horse will remain in Germany and will be trained at Nadine Plaster's dressage yard in Ganderkesee.

The second most expensive horse of the collection was the formerly licensed stallion Fletcher (by Furst Grandios x Weltmeyer), who is owned by the Danish Blue Hors stud. He was initially offered for sale at the Alsefeld auction in December 2013, but the now gelding was withdrawn from the auction to resurface in Verden for the elite auction. He sold for 83,000 euro to Bavarian clients.

British customers acquired the 5-year old licensed and performance tested show jumper Cansendo (by Canstakko x Contender) for 67,000 euro, while Austrian clients obtained ownership of the 4-year old mare Her Highness (by Hochadel x Wolkentanz I) for 56,000 euro.

The 3-year old chestnut stallion Dietrich (by Dannebrog x Londonderry x Grossmogul) sold for 50,000 euro to Sweden.

A few dressage ponies were on offer in the elite collection this year. American customers paid 21,000 euro for the pony mare Cecil (by Hennes x Aviso AA).

Twenty-nine foals were also on sale. The top seller was the colt Quentin Tarantino (by Quantensprung x Fidertanz), which sold for 22,000 euro to Switzerland. The average price for a foal was 6,466 euro.

A total of 56 riding horses were sold at this auction. They achieved an average price of 26,091 euro.
