The 6th Alsfelder December auction concluded the 2014 auction year for the Hanoverian society. The dark bay Bandol became the best seller at the event, selling for 36,000 euro to Swiss dressage clients.
Bandol is by Benetton Dream x Lauries Crusador xx and is bred by Benedicte Meyer from Luxembourg.
Most expensive jumper was the Charilan x Lord Sinclair-son Charmeur S (breeder and exhibitor: Dr. Christian Schroeer, Siedenburg). A show jumping stable from Hessen purchased the young athlete who exhibits best prospects for a successful and dazzling future career for 16,000 euro.
There was much interest in the auction collection far beyond German borders. Nine horses found their new home abroad.
The established Cadre Noir from France acquired two futurity prospects. The auction went very well, and the atmosphere was quite relaxed. "The general atmosphere was very positive," Auction Manager Joerg-Wilhelm Wegener said and was happy about the fantastic international response.
A collection of 25 riding horses were auctioned in Alsfeld. The average price was 13,347 euro.
