Casanostra and Fine Lady, Top Sellers at the 2015 Hanoverian Foal Auction

Casanostra and Fine Lady became the price highlights of the 2015 Hanoverian Foal Auction held in Verden, Germany, on Saturday 15 August 2015. Both foals sold for 27,000 euro.

120 foals were selected for the 41st elite foal and broodmare auction and 199 sold for an average price of 8,470 euro. 

The colt Casanostra (by Cadeau Noir x Lauries Crusador xx) is bred by Volker Bertram and sold for 27,000 to a local stallion owner.  The filly Fine Lady (by Furst Romancier x Warkant) is bred by Maike Löer and sold for 27,000 euro to Bavaria.

The Rhinelander colt Spotify (by Stanford x Fidermark) sold for 26,000 euro. Daddy's Darling (by De Niro x Sandro Hit) sold to Russia for 25,000 euro.

The best selling jumper foal was Gentleman (by Galant de Semilly x Raphael) which moves to Denmark for 16,000 euro.

The state premium candidate Pina Colada (by Perigueux) was the best selling broodmare and sold to German clients for 21,000 euro. She is in foal to Kannan (by Voltaire).

Eleven broodmares in total were auctioned. The average price for a broodmare was 12,091 euro.
