The 5-year old Baryshnikov and the 6-year old Bombastic were the winners in the Dressage Horse Tests that served as Bundeschampionate qualfiication classes at the regional championships in Nordlingen, Germany, on 22 July 2017. The 5-year old division was packed, the 6-year old was quite small.
Carolin Brandt and her 5-year old Oldenburg stallion Baryshnikov (by Bretton Woods x Weltmeyer) aced the L-level dressage horse test with an 8.4 total score. The dark bay stallion owned by Franziska Rath-Eisenmann scored 8 for walk, 8.5 for trot and canter, 8 for submission and 9 for general impression. Katja Galmbacher and her father Hans Weisbrod's Bavarian stallion Boss Hoss (by Belissimo M x Romanov) were second with 8.2.. The bay stallion for 8.5 for walk, 8 for trot, canter and submission and 8.5 for general impression.
In the 6-year old class Anna Weilert and the state stud Neustadt/Dosse owned stallion Bombastic (by Boston x Dionysos) scored a whopping 8.6 for the victory. The bay stallion got 8 for walk, 9 for trot, 8.5 for canter and submission and 9 for general impression. Andrea Dlugos and the Wurttemberger bred Faris Girl (by Furstenball x Rubin Royal) were the runners-up with 8., tying i second place with Antja Fehl on the Bavarian mare Wish You Happiness (by Boston x Licotus). Faris Girl for 8 for walk, 9 for trot, 7.5 for canter and submission and 8 for general impression. Wish You Happiness got 8.5 for walk, 8 for trot, 7.5 for canter and 8 for submission and general impression.
