Pure Boy, Top Seller at 2018 Hanoverian Winter Auction

Pure Boy (by Perigueux x Acorado x Egerlander) became the top selling horse at the 2018 Hanoverian Winter Auction in Verden, Germany, on 20 January 2018. 

The 6-year old jumper fetched a sales price of 87,000 euro., selling to French jumper Pascal Fatien.

The second most expensive horse was the 5-year old gelding Dujardin (by Don Frederic x Escudo) who switched owners for 55,000 euro.

The 5-year old jumper gelding Luiz Barroso (by Licosto x Falsterbo) sold for 46,000 euro.  The 4-year old mare Dolores La Grande (by Dressage Royal x Londonderry) achieved a knock down price of 39,000 euro, while the 4-year old gelding Faconnable (by Franziskus x French Kiss) sold for 34,000 euro.

The mature 9-year old Romus der Grosse (by Rotspon x warkant) changed owners for 33,000 euro; the same price was paid for the 5-year old chestnut mare Pippi Lotta (by Perigueux x Lordanos).

The Winter auction included 3-year old colts. Froberger (by Furstenball) sold for 15,000 euro.

Ninety horses were up for auction at the Winter Sales and they produced an average price of 18,590 euro.
