The show jumper Carissima became the best selling horse at the last Hanoverian auction in Verden of 2018, the November auction.
Carissima is by Contendro x Graf Top and sold for 79,000 euro to Great Britain.
The second most expensive horse was Dante's Daiquiri (by Dante Weltino x Avagon), bred by Nicole Nemitz. The mare sold over the phone for 70,000 euro to Austria.
Two horses sold for 60,000 euro: A German customer acquired Dantes Love F (by Dante Weltino x Florestan) and a foreign customer bought Viddi (by Viscount x Sandro) for this price.
The 4-year old Dark Girl (by Dimaggio x Burlington) fetched 40,000 and will stay in Germany.
Three horses sold for 37,00 euro, all show jumpers: Cascada (by Catoki x Fly High), Gerda (by Grey Top x Contendro) and Limited Edition IR (by Lordanos x Conteur).
Seventy-four horses were sold at this auction and they achieved an average price of 18,784 euro. Thirty-two horses sold abroad.
