The 5-year olds Dakito and Fine Flashlight and the 6-year old Harrods won the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the big regional show in Bielefeld on Friday 10 May 2019.
The division of 5-year olds was so big that the class was split into two groups.
The winner of the 5-year old division in group 1 was Sabine Egbers aboard her parents' Hanoverian gelding Dakito (by Dancier x Hochadel). The duo scored 8.3 for the victory and her horse got 8 for walk and trot, and 8.5 for canter, submission and general impression. Two combinations tied into second place with 8.1. in total: Jessica Süss aboard the Miesner's Oldenburg mare Fursten Fee M (by Furstenball x Sandro Hit) and Nicole Wego aboard the Rhinelander mare Quiana W. Fursten Fee earned 7.5 for walk, 8 for trot, 8.5 for canter and submission and 8 for general impression, while Quiana W got 8.5 for walk and trot, 7.5 for canter and 8 for submission and general impression.
In the second group of 5-year olds Petra Middelberg rode her own OIdenburg stallion Fine Flashlight (by Follow Me x Rohdiamant) to victory with 8.4. The liver chestnut stallion got 8 for walk, 9 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Jenny Kitzing and Ekaterina Wahler's Hanoverian gelding Faberge de Royal (by Franziskus x Weltmeyer) were second with 8.2. This dark bay gelding got 7 for alk, 9 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Katrin Bettenworth and Stephan Borgmann's Hanoverian mare Envoy (by Estobar x Don Davidoff) were third with 8.0.
A large group of 6-year olds competed for an entry ticket to Warendorf. NIcole Wego and Hof Kasselmann's Hanoverian gelding Harrods (by Hochadel x Rotspon) topped the board with the BuCha high score of the day, 8.6. The liver chestnut got 8.5 for walk, trot and canter, 9 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Eva Möller and Andreas Helgstrand's Ballando (by Benicio) were the runners-up with 8.4. The pair got 8 for walk, and 8.5 for trot, canter, submission and general impression. David Taylor and Max Matti's Oldenburg licensed stallion MDM Zodiac (by Zonik x Donnerschwee) were third with 8.2.
