The chestnut Fascination became the price highlight of the 2020 Oldenburg Special Edition auction of which the online bidding concluded on 5 December 2020.
The auction became a triumph for breeder Bernd Huslage who not only sold the price highlight but also the second best seller of the auction.
The 3-year old Fascination (by Blue Hors Farrell x Royal Diamond x Grundstein) sold to new clients in the U.S.A. for 110,000 euro.
The 4-year old Star Light (by Santo Domingo x Donnerschwee x Royal Diamond), bred by Huslage and presented at auction by the Bremen company PEI, sold for 101,000 euro. He will stay in Germany.
American clients bought the third most expensive horse of the auction, the versatile but jumper trained Arya Stark (by Antango x Stedinger) for 60,500 euro. A Hungarian bought Quito (by Quidamo x Gavi) for 55,500 euro.
British customers secured Der kleine Lord (by Diamond Hit x Donnerball x Saint Cloud/) for 50,000 €. Also moving to the U.K is Sisley (by St. Schufro x Rohdiamant x Inselfurst), who sold for 25,000 euro.
The bay mare Virginia (by Vivaldi x Rohdiamant x Glorieux) will stay in Germany and sold for 31,000 €. Fuerteventura (by Fürst Wilhelm x Argentinus x Rohdiamant) found a new home in Austria for 27,000 euro.
The average price for a horse in this auction was 38,053 euro.
