From the 27th until 30th of August, online bids can be made for the fourth collection of the KWPN Online Foal Auction. This collection includes 15 dressage foals, which are sired by proven sport and breeding stallions such as Arlando and Dream Boy as well as upcoming stallions like Kjento and Livius. Various foals are closely related to international Grand Prix dressage horses.

During the photo and video days, all foals were assessed by the KWPN inspector and a veterinarian. This means that all the foals are selected on health and correctness, which makes sure they have a promising future. Online bidding is possible from Friday the 27th of August and the bidding will close on Monday the 30th of August from 8PM CET.

Proven performance genes

The KWPN Online Foal Auction offers the opportunity to purchase genetically interesting foals. For example, the promising Royal Galaxie (s.Maldini-Vivaldi) was bred out of a half-sister of the KWPN approved stallion Galaxie (s.Jazz), who competes in international Young Riders classes under Eugenie Burban, and the international Grand Prix dressage horse Dark Jazz (s.Jazz) ridden by Jose Raga Perales. The international Grand Prix horse Equirelle W (s.Florett As) of Günter Seidel also originates from this direct damline. Also Ranger (s.Livius-Bordeaux) represents a proven family and his granddam Biona is a half-sister of the international Grand Prix dressage horse Vradin (s.Gribaldi) with whom Simon Missiaen took part in the European Championships in Herning in 2013. The filly Reeva (s.Filou-For Romance) was bred out of a full sister of the Grand Prix dressage horse Fendi T (s.Negro), who made an impression with Severo Jesus Jurado Lopez at the Tokyo Olympics.

Promising sires

This collection offers foals for sale sired by upcoming stallions like Adelinde Cornelissen’s future talent Henkie, the promising Bordeaux son Livius which was approved with a top score of 84.5 points, the striking five-years-old Lord Diamond, the in German well-tested Fürst Dior and Kjento. Last-mentioned will compete in the World Championship for young dressage horses this week. The Olympic stallions Arlando (Diederik van Silfhout), which took part in the EC of Göteborg with Anna Zibrandtsen, and Glock’s Dream Boy (Hans-Peter Minderhoud) are also represented by promising foals in this collection.
