The spotted colt Esquin Gold FB became the best seller of the 2024 Foal Auction which the Oldenburg breeding society and Hof Kasselmann organized during the CDI Horses & Dreams competition in Hagen on 26 April 2024.
The highest price was paid for a show a cool coloured spotted dressage foal, Esquin Gold (by Esquin White x De Niro Gold). A local bidder paid 52,000 euro for this one, who is bred by Friedo Berg. He sold to a Swiss buyer based in Malaga, Spain.
The second most expensive one was Viva Valena MJ (by Viva Gold x Furstenball) which sold for 50,000 euro to a client of Hof Kasselmann, while the jumper foal Emanuela (by Ermitage Kalone x Quasimodo) sold for 23,500 euro to Finland.
Fifteen foals were offered for sale. Dynamic Touch (by Dynamic Dream x De Niro) went for 20,000 euro. Very Pretty (by V-Power x Vincent Maranello) for 17,000 euro, Fortissimo (by Fynch Hatton x Bordeaux) sold for 16,000 euro and Most Welcome (by Most Wanted Nero von Bellin x Dancing World) for 15,500 euro.
Entourage (by Escaneno x Don Schufro) sold for 12,000 euro. Zarzuela (by Zarenball x Rock for Me) sold to an online bidder from Germany for 10,500 euro.
